Escucha Transfronteriza Vol. 1 is part of the 2026–2028 season by Frecuencia 3, a sound art and radio art duo formed by Cintia Molter and Paloma Klisys.

The album unfolds as a transdisciplinary work and a spatial listening architecture that reconfigures the radio art tradition. Through an intentional and rigorous weaving of sound layers, radio interference, analog frequencies, voice archives, and field research, the work crafts a critical map of the frictions, tensions, and resonances traversing Latin America, Brazil, and Cuba.

About the Work

In a landscape saturated with automatisms and information overload, Escucha Transfronteriza Vol. 1 proposes deep listening as a meeting point and a resonant platform.

The ten pieces composing this volume weave together political discourses, news alerts, everyday audio archives, and poetic inquiries through a provocative and reflective sound design. Challenging dystopian scenarios, exile tensions, and disputes over regional symbolic capital, synthetic and human voices intertwine across multiple languages to intercept the spectrum and maintain a living channel of connection through the air.
