Frequency 3 — Second Triad (2026–2028)
Between 2023 and 2025, the project was structured as a series of nine radio art programs, released in podcast format, building a transborder field of listening between Brazil and Cuba and consolidating a first sonic architecture of the process.
With the publication of Episode 9, this initial cycle comes to a close — corresponding to the first triad that underpins the project’s temporal logic.
From 2026 onward, Frequency 3 enters a new phase.
The work ceases to operate as a periodic radio art program and begins to develop as a continuous process in sound and audiovisual art, with a focus on interaction between creative processes, expanded montage, live performances, installations, international circulation, and actions in public space.
The project remains active until completing nine years in duration, deepening its layers, displacements, and resonances through other formats and rhythms.
Frequency 3 remains a trama in expansion — a field of listening and invention that is continuously reconfigured through the encounters it activates.
Frequency 3 — Invitation to Invention
Frequency 3 is an anthropophagic artistic research project that operates as a launch platform for poetic and reflective propositions. Its central aim is to create conditions for cultural exchange, interaction, and artistic creation through processes grounded in listening, encounter, and contamination.
The project is interested in modes of communication that go beyond purely formal or rational discourse, proposing listening as an expanded practice — one that moves outside convention and opens space for resonance, deviation, and transformation.
It is precisely through provocation, listening, and openness to what comes from the “outside” that Frequency 3 activates its actions. These actions seek to generate new connections and to produce artistic, poetic, and reflective materials that engage with questions related to behavior, the production of subjectivity, contemporary challenges, cultural exchange and cultural production, philosophy, politics, activism, technologies, and education.
One of the project’s central intentions is to work artistically with multiple discursive layers simultaneously, allowing different languages and media to intersect.
Through contact and contamination with the research universes of other artists, collaborators, and researchers, Frequency 3 fosters the creation of transmedia and translingual works that emerge from process rather than from fully predefined orientations.
Invitation to invention
Invitation to Invention is the term that best describes the spirit of this call.
Rather than following the logic of competitive open calls, Frequency 3 proposes a space for collaboration, exchange, and inter-process contamination.
The invitation is directed toward artists and researchers who are developing creative processes that resonate — conceptually, poetically, or intuitively — with the elements explored at this stage of the project.
Participation does not imply adherence to a fixed format or an expected outcome. Contributions may take the form of fragments, gestures, partial materials, or ongoing research, provided that they enter into dialogue with the proposed conceptual universes and/or poetically justify any dissonance.

In this long-term creative process, listening performs a seismographic function: it captures the hidden tensions of a territory before they turn into headlines.
On the third day of the year, just a few days after the release of the final episode of the special series, January 3, 2026, establishes a historical “seismicity” across the Latin American geopolitical axis and beyond.
While the news reports the events, Frequency 3 navigates the intensities of subjective territories.
Episode 9 is not a closure; it is one of the keys for reading the urgencies of the present.
The journey toward Latin America is not merely an artistic plan — it is an immediate event.
What we mapped as a sonic saga manifests itself as art and also as a cartography of crisis.
The cycle we begin emerges under the sign of a history in combustion.
Listening is not neutral; it is a portal of presence, an invitation to dialogue and to the desire for creative interaction, even in the face of the constant risk of dystopia.
In this cartography in flames, borders transform into membranes of exchange.
